Ian Stirling of Objectives Reached is a full paid up member of:
As a business advocate of the LEP, we can provide additional advice to clients with help from the monthly emails we receive containing useful information that can benefit companies across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Most of our services focus on marketing, growth and change. Training supports these elements and can often be an essential part of any growth plan.
If a project requires design, IT or other specific knowledge that Objectives Reached, does not have, it will create a team for the project, using its contract rates to give a cost effective service.
We also have a member of the team who produces logos for websites and new companies for a fixed fee.
The same applies to most of the skills we supply, even in Sales; some people are better at calling to make appointments whilst others are able to create that air of confidence that assists them in closing the sale.
Our role is to help you set objectives and to reach them within budget and on time. Our vision is “To be the Service Provider that delivers more than our clients expect”. We understand the importance of word of mouth advertising and it will be our own main marketing platform. We therefore need to outperform our brief and provide a fair and transparent service.
Within our Team, we have specialists from a Finance Director with experience of PLC and SMEs whose endorsement can give a bank confidence ,to a Project Manager who specialises in setting up systems for new ventures or developments.
Please contact us to discuss how our team approach could help you.
The Objectives Reached partners with other companies to bid for contracts that are too diverse or large for many individuals to win or compete for on their own. With ‘contracting in’ and ‘out sourcing’ gaining popularity, East Anglia’s talented pool of individuals and small companies are well placed to win ‘shared’ contracts. Due to the nature of contracted work, many people will have hours, days, weeks or even months between contracts and our team approach assists in smoothing this out.
Objectives Reached is able to access this large pool of talent and therefore have more than one person in most fields. Taking design, for instance, one of key members of the team is an extremely talented and gifted Graphic Artist, whose fees are available on request.
The following page links describe each service we provide. For every service, we have compiled the ‘steps to success’ you should take regarding each area of business. Firstly, we introduce the idea of ‘The Pain We Solve’, what is it that is affecting your business and limiting its potential. Next, we provide ‘The Best Solution’ to these issues before explaining ‘Why We Are the Best Solution Provider’. This concept is discussed in Kevin Daum and Daniel A. Turner’s business book ‘Roar’.
Richard Branson gave this advice and it applies to advice from Business Coaches as well
“You shouldn’t blindly accept a leader’s advice. You’ve got to question leaders on occasion’.
If you’re the type to believe everything you read online or hear in a conference then keep this in mind next time. It’s all good and well to receive advice from others but don’t internalise everything blindly. Question everything and justify it in your own mind. At the end of the day you’re in charge of the business and you need to own every decision.”
That is why Ian Stirling’s coaching style is to work with business owners to reach their objectives in a way they feel is right for their business. There is never just one road to success and the quickest road is not always the most appropriate.
However, if a business is stuck, not progressing and frustrating everyone perhaps the famous Branson quote is the way forward. “Screw it, let’s just do it.”
