As a business advocate of the LEP, we can provide additional advice to clients with help from the monthly emails we receive containing useful information that can benefit companies across Norfolk and Suffolk.

19/09- We have just joined ‘zoom’. This is the SME Club Business that encourages innovation and development of commercial opportunities through cooperation, peer to peer learning and master classes.  ‘zoom’ is for business owners and business investors

‘zoom’ meets once a month and has been carefully designed for busy business owners, who need to keep on top of so much and are committed to growing business. That business could be their existing company or new ventures.  Investors are replacing banks as a source of finance, and therefore are welcome as members of ‘zoom’.

Our price structure is unique; we do not charge you more as you take on more staff or increase turnover, in fact the opposite is true. We charge more the smaller your business is.

Business owner, business partner or investor fees

If you employ or contract 10 or more people membership is free

If you employ or contract 2 to 9 people membership £50 per year plus vat*

Trading or working alone, membership £99 per year plus vat *

*We will waive the membership fee for 12 months (or longer) if you have or agree to develop a growth business plan with input from members – we are committed to your company’s growth the question is are you.

We are looking for business owners who can attend regularly, although we know business comes first. ‘zoom’ is not a business referral network, however when you get a group of business people working together business is referred, but our goal is sharing and developing business knowledge.

I was asked

“Will people introduce themselves”.  Yes of course, but not by standing up for 1 minute and repeating the same sales message month in month out.  If you want this join BNI or a spin off network.

“Who will provide the education”   We will mix internal and external deliverers but knowledge will come from discussions and helping others overcome challenges.

“Will it be like Dragons Den”  No, that is a TV show, at ‘zoom’ investors will learn about you, your passion and your business.

“How many members do you have” We are a small but growing group who wish to be judged on quality rather than quantity.

How to find out more

You can email membership@bizuk.co to arrange a 1 to 1 introduction or attend the first few sessions without cost.  We meet at 09.30 on the second Friday of the month, around a boardroom table in Norwich.
